SRAM X01 Eagle AXS Rear Derailleur - 12-Speed, Long Cage, 52t Max, Lunar

This is a completely new derailleur specifically designed to be motor-driven rather than cable-actuated. Components powered by AXS allow for customization and adaptation to each rider’s preferences through the AXS App. The derailleur features a shorter cage that provides 10mm more ground clearance, along with increased chain wrap on the cassette, allowing it to sit slightly further forward and inboard compared to the mechanical Eagle.

The Eagle AXS derailleur is equipped with an Overload Clutch that protects it during impacts. If an impact occurs, the motor gearbox disengages, allowing the derailleur to move freely before automatically returning to its original position, ensuring a seamless experience for the rider. Additionally, the system meets the IP69K standard for water and dust proofing, making it suitable for creek crossings, mud encounters, and subsequent post-ride pressure washing.
